Abstract
Juan, who is 5’7” with a thin frame, has large brown eyes and a hint of a mustache.
He is a proud Salvadorian American who loves soccer. Juan’s curly dark hair is cut
short on the sides with a mound on the top and a lock in the back that hangs down
to his shoulders-a visual symbol of unity with several other members of the high
school soccer team. He has a passive demeanor in front of authority figures, but his
friends experience an outgoing side of his personality that includes frequent affirmations and physical acts of affection. Juan does not have many natural gifts, but he
compensates for his shortcomings with passion and a strong work ethic. This transfers to all aspects of his life from the classroom to the soccer field. He also uses these
skills when pursuing girls.
