Actualized Leadership Profile Adaptive Connective Servant Transformational Leadership
Purpose. This study examined the intersections between the Actualized Leadership Profile (ALP) and four established leadership theories: transformational, adaptive, connective, and servant leadership. Theoretical Framework. The theoretical framework for this study included four leadership theories: transformational, adaptive, connective, and servant. These theories were used to critically examine the constructs within the ALP. Methodology. Using a qualitative comparative analysis of foundational literature, this study mapped the ALP’s assessment structure and nine leadership attributes against the core elements of the four theories. Findings and Conclusion. This study revealed considerable alignment across all models. Transformational leadership closely corresponded with the ALP’s emphasis on vision, inspiration, self-mastery, and intellectual stimulation. Adaptive leadership aligned through shared emphasis on resilience, flexibility, systems thinking, and iterative reflection. Additionally, Connective leadership intersected with the ALP’s relational intelligence, inclusivity, hybrid style, and collaborative engagement. Furthermore, Servant leadership demonstrated strong convergence with the ALP’s ethical orientation, stewardship, empathy, and developmental focus. Recommendations. Future research should expand the Actualized Leadership Profile (ALP) by connecting it with additional leadership models such as authentic, self, and distributed leadership, and by examining the shadow side alongside destructive leadership theories. Studies should additionally consider using mixed-method and longitudinal designs and focus on the follower perspective to understand how leader–follower alignment affects resilience, team dynamics, and organizational culture. Finally, research across diverse cultures, sectors, and demographics would help test the broader applicability of ALP insights.
