An Heretical Approach to Evaluation

Abstract

This paper suggests that, in situations of fiscal crisis, inadequate prior evaluation and time constraints, faculty evaluation cannot merely follow the traditional models of systematic evaluation. An alternate evaluation approach, called here "Aggregate Perception Evaluation Procedure" (APEP), is suggested and its usefulness for limiting the extent and scope of analysis is described.
